Resolutions

I'm not usually one for making big, loud resolutions. Some years I don't make any; some years I make a very few very quietly and do very badly at following through. Usually by February I've forgotten all about them, honestly.

But last year sometime, my sister-in-law Abby gave me a pretty little journal, and I thought surely I could jot down a little something every day till that journal was full.

I'm on my second journal. And it's November. Maybe thirty years old is the prime age for resolution-keeping. 🙂

If so, it's time to resurrect this blog yet again, hopefully on a semi-regular schedule. Weekly seems far too hard to maintain; monthly seems too few and far between. Maybe biweekly will do the trick.

And if I'm not derailed in the much anticipated April of 2022 by the arrival of another sweet baby . . . maybe I'll actually have a real blog again. 🙂

I'd like that.

And yes, I'm completely aware that it's not New Year's. In fact, I'd completely forgotten we were coming up on a new year already till I read an article a week or so ago. It was about businesses petitioning Biden to push out the 100-employees+ vaccine mandate till 2022 so they could get through the holidays without people leaving their jobs.

2022, I thought. That'd be so nice. Push it out for a couple years. Hopefully it'll all blow over by then.

It wasn't till a while later that I realized 2022 is in less than two months. Crazy. This year has gone by so quickly.

Next thing you know, it'll be Christmas . . . I can't wait.
